OUR GUIDELINES

  1. CAMPUS PROGRAMS: Prayer, Worship, Personal and Group Outreach and Community Support action should be carried out without prejudice to institutional regulations. Program outlines should be submitted to the Secretariat in the before the commencement of the semester/term. 
  2. INVITATIONS TO CAMPUS PROGRAMS: In addition to outlining them in the programs submitted to the Secretariat, the TS should always be involved in inviting the following to minister on campuses (he should endorse the letters inviting them):
    • Senior ministers such as Apostles, Prophets and Evangelists
    • Ministers and others from outside the Sector
    • Non-PENSA members
  3. REPORTING: Tertiary institutions report on their activities and the activities of the pre-tertiary institutions they coordinate by the close of every semester. Both comprehensive and statistical reports should be submitted. (See Our Documents for templates) Pre-tertiary institutions must also report on their activities by the close of each term.
  4. FINANCE: The Operational Guidelines for Administering PENSA Finances (See Our Documents) should be followed. Presidents should ensure that names of the pre-audit committee members are submitted to the Secretariat at the commencement of their tenure. Budget approval meetings shall be held at the Secretariat on the first Saturday of every semester. Subsequent budget approval meetings will be arranged as and when necessary. All outstanding accounts with the Secretariat must be cleared before the close of every semester.
  5. CORRESPONDENCE: Program outlines and soft copies of reports and other correspondence should be sent to pensakumasi@gmail.com and the TS alerted by phone/sms. 
  6. NATIONAL AND SECTOR EVENTS: 
    • PENSA CONFERENCE: Held in first or second week in January every year at the National level. Obtain registration cards through presidents.
    • PENTECOSTAL CONFERENCE: Held at the Sector/Zonal level on the third or fourth Saturday of every Semester
    • STAGE ON FIRE: Held once in the year as a platform for the gifts of music, drama and tract ministrations. 
  7. DISTRIBUTION OF PUBLICATIONS: As a rule, copies of Streams of Living Water, and Pentecost Fire will be secured for 10% of the PENSA membership in every institution by the Sector as soon as they are published. Those who may need more should request through the Secretariat's office.
  8. OFFICE HOURS: 12 noon to 4 pm. Special appointments however can be arranged.
  9. MEMBERSHIP REGISTERS AND CERTIFICATES: The Secretariat issues a uniform Certificate of Service on behalf of the Church for every exiting PENSA member or officer. Membership should be verifiable in every institution's Membership Register, which should include: 
    • Date of Birth
    • Date of Baptism
    • Date of Registration as a PENSA Member
    • Local Church/Assembly and District
    • Date of admission into institution
    • Course or Program
    • Permanent Address or Contact
  10. RURAL EVANGELISM: Rural evangelism is encouraged and it must be embarked upon within the Sector. The TS must be fully informed and involved in planning and carrying out rural evangelism. As much as possible the institution embarking on rural evangelism must build up its own finances towards the venture, and deploy as many participants as it is able to support, without unduly burdening the host community.
